About Open Learning Path

A free, structured course that explains blockchain technology to beginners — and nothing else.

Why this course exists

Most people meet blockchain through headlines about prices. That makes it hard to learn what the technology actually is: a clever combination of old ideas — ledgers, cryptography and networks — arranged so that strangers can keep one shared record without a central keeper.

Open Learning Path explains that combination step by step, the way a good textbook would: one idea at a time, with a diagram, a summary and a few questions to check yourself.

What we do

  • Publish a free, six-module course with 18 lessons, a glossary and a quiz.
  • Base every lesson on primary sources — original papers, technical standards and official texts — and link to them.
  • Review lessons regularly and correct mistakes openly.

What we never do

  • We do not sell, broker or exchange crypto-assets, and we do not hold anyone's funds or keys.
  • We do not recommend, rank, review or compare coins, tokens, exchanges or wallet products.
  • We do not publish prices, charts, market commentary or predictions.
  • We do not give financial, legal or tax advice.
  • We do not run affiliate programmes or accept payment for mentions.

How we are funded

The course is free. The publisher covers the costs of writing and hosting it and may advertise the course itself online. Advertising does not influence what lessons say. We accept no money from crypto companies.

Who is behind the site
