Accessibility

We want every lesson to be usable by as many people as possible.

What we do

  • Text has a clear structure: one main heading per page and logical section headings.
  • Colours are chosen for sufficient contrast, and information is never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Diagrams have text descriptions, and every lesson explains its diagram in words.
  • The site works with a keyboard, has a "skip to content" link and visible focus outlines.
  • Pages adapt to small screens and to browser zoom up to 200%.
  • The site does not use autoplaying media or flashing content.

Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Some content may not yet fully meet this standard.
